Brown Alumni Filmmakers: Extended Deadline is March 31

There is still time to submit your short film to the 5th edition of the Brown Media Group Film Festival to be held in late spring 2026. The extended deadline is March 31, but we encourage you to submit as soon as you’re ready.

We are currently accepting scripted films, documentaries and animation shorts up to 20 minutes in duration. Each work must be either Alumni directed, written or produced, or feature an Alum as a lead or supporting actor. In order for your work to be considered you must mention the Alumni's role in your film and their Class Year.

Our 2024 Festival was a huge success and screened in both NYC and LA! We also streamed the Festival live on campus in the Granoff Center for the Performing Arts.

We look forward to seeing your new work. Filmmakers should also feel free to resubmit previous entries. We hope to see you at our Film Festival this Spring!
